About Period Delay
There are instances, such as travel or holidays, where delaying your period may be necessary. Our period delay service offers a solution during such times. Period delay tablets contain synthetic female sex hormones, akin to those in contraceptive pills. Since monthly periods result from a drop in progesterone levels, elevated hormone levels can postpone your period for up to 17 days. It’s essential to note that these tablets do not prevent pregnancy, so additional contraception like condoms or a contraceptive diaphragm is recommended.
To use period delay tablets, take one tablet three times a day. Begin three days before your expected period start date, and typically, your period resumes two to three days after stopping the tablets.
While period delay treatments, particularly Norethisterone, are evidence-based, their effectiveness may not be 100% guaranteed in every case.
